Graduated from Department of Philosophy ,Aesthetics and Science of Arts ,Keio University
Published quarterly photography magazine “déjà-vu.”
Started TOKITAMA Project in 1993.

■TOKITAMA Words
1993〜 Snapshots of perception from everyday life almost every week . I design and print the words on a postcard and sent it to the readers. I call it “weekly TOKITAMA”.
Started in December 10, 1993.
Published 813 copies as of July 25, 2011 increasing every week.

Artist Statement
What I interest most is the everyday life that ordinary people engage in. I discover and pick up a piece of system, scene, and bond; I put it into a word, and make it known as my work.
I design my word on the postcard and print it out. I may be called “Visual Poetry.”
The word could be a communication tool among friends, family members, the world itself, and your inner self. Not only words but pictures and Mail Art create the world of communication through words.
